Eduard Mihai Manta is a Ph.D. student and research assistant at the Doctoral School of Cybernetics and Statistics and has over eight years of experience in model risk management, holding various positions in data teams such as data science and lately Sustainable Finance, ESG, stock ranking and risk intelligence lead model validator within an important financial institution in Europe. In the last years, it focused on sustainability, informality, machine learning and quantitative analysis. The subject studied in the Ph.D. is the COVID-19 pandemic- an accelerator of the implementation of sustainable development concepts, resilience, green and inclusive of the global economy. He has experience working with one of the principal NGOs in the field of education, working on reports that underlie decision-making within the organization. He has over 4 teaching years of experience on subjects such as econometrics, time series analysis, predictive analytics and machine learning. He published over 10 ISI research papers, participated at over 15 international conferences and published around 20 Emerald, Springer and Routledge book chapters in fields such as informality, sustainability, sustainable development, contagion effects, bibliometric analysis on key research areas, ESG. He was member of different national and international research projects including a HORIZON project on informality.
