Geambasu Maria Cristina is a senior data analyst at Europanel Romania. With over 6 years experience on data manipulations and data analysis she become expert in SAS and skilled in R, machine learning, and advanced analytics. She is currently engaged in the doctoral program of Cybernetics and Economic Statistics at Bucharest University of Economic Studies and her main research aims to identify key determinants of informality and estimate the size of shadow economy at a regional level. Other research interests includes studying the link between informality and digitalization and analyzing patterns in undeclared work. Beyond research, Cristina has over 2 teaching years of experience on subject such as Time series and Statistics.
