Zouhair Ennaoumi is a doctoral researcher in Economics at the University of Salerno, affiliated with the CELPE and LABETI research laboratories. He is an active collaborator on the INSEAI project and recently completed a two-month research visit at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies under the mentorship of Professor Davidescu. His research focuses on informality, inequality, and tax evasion, with a particular interest in the valuation of informal employment and the distributional impacts of undeclared work.

Zouhair works with quantitative and survey-based methodologies, with working experience in STATA, RStudio, and Qualtrics survey design. He is currently involved in developing innovative survey instruments aligned with ILO standards, particularly those capturing second-job informality and earnings in informal work. The survey aims to collect key information needed to estimate informal income and allow comparison with ILO statistics. This work combines cross-country perspectives with empirical tools to support policy-relevant research on fiscal inclusion and labor market dynamics.
